That's Right, I'm Your Manager
No, not Jim Tracy. Talking 'bout Marq-Dog. A much-needed pitching gem for a team that desperately needed to rebound after last night and for a pitcher that had a dreadful start down in Anaheim last week. Bravo. In case you weren't paying attention, that was a 2-hit, complete game shutout, accompanied by a two-out, bases-loaded, 2-RBI base hit that provided a little breathing room in what was a 1-0 game at the time. Oh yeah, the victory gives Marq-Dog 10 for the year, best in the NL.
Getting swept in this series would've been a bit of a disaster (considering the opponent). Now, the roadie is at worst a successful 5-4, at best a sparkling 6-3. I prefer the latter, but either way, nice work fellas. C'mon Super DLR!

quite masterful...
I guess Hammel is pitching tonight?!?! I though he pitched on Sat night and DLR pitched Fri against the A's. I could be wrong about that though.
It is Hammel...
Sounds like Corpas is going to be given some bullpen workout today too. Hopefully that means he'll be back soon.
Comeon super Ham Bone!
