A real favorite of mine.
Post-game, Blake St. early 2008 (boy did that season suck eventually though...) Rockies and Cookie take down the Cubs. This feisty Cubs fan didn't care for my photo snapping while I was en route to Swanky's. Her reaction was more volatile post-photo snappage if I recall, which is not captured. I didn't give a shit.
The fat Cubs fan lady and her fat Cubs fan son, were non-plussed. I guess a lot of stadium hot dogs, nachos, tor-na-doughs, and dippin' dots will make you fairly docile, even in the face of defeat and obnoxious photo taking. Ha!

A great photo indeed. A good 'in-your-face' (as the kids say) to bitter cub fans.
Either of you remember that 11-year old Rockies fan from last season's series? The kid kept talking shit to Cub fans during the game until I think we moved (not because of him).
I turned to Apup and broke the news that he was probably my illegitimate son.
Wasn't that kid featured in the not-so-great photo from a couple days ago?!?
I have a pretty great photo of a Blackhawks fan arguing with his girlfriend outside the Can earlier this season after the Avs took down the Hawks. Meant to post it on KTH, but never happened for some reason. Maybe during a future Avs preseason count down.
Awesome quote from Tracy today in the Post:
"I am tickled to death to have Jason back," Tracy said. "It serves two purposes. You just wonder how much more of a special player you could have down the stretch if we could get Todd some sensible rest."
Hurdle is to barrel as Tracy is to special.
Good point, DT. I'm just tickled that many of Hurdle's former players have adopted using the term barrel frequently in their interviews.
yeah. Friday's post was the only photo I had of your illegitimate son, DT.
Wow, I totally missed that Friday post. I think I tried to snap a picture of him as well, with bad results.
