Seth Smith in his normal pinchy (you got your dugout with you? what we're talking baseball, not grass?) role, picked up Tulo in the 8th when things were still a bit tenuous. I don't like yelling "Tulo you suck!" at the TV but will continue as necessary. It was warranted tonight. C'mon Troy. You're better than that.
Becoming relevant in the NL West means sweeping the Padres. This can be done...
Perhaps Barmes and his shiny dome could don a Star Trek TNG Picard suit and utter the immortal words..."Make it so." (he looks the most like Jean-Luc)

I feel like I'm coming down with some sort of fever. I think my pre-season prediction for Cookie was 16-9 with a 3.90 ERA. Boy was I off. 20 wins maybe?
My Dodgers?
I'm coming down with the same sort of ailment. With Ubaldo going tonight and Frank-Dog Sunday, a sweep seems entirely possible.
Uh, the Dodgers - is that 8 in a row?
that was a pitiful showing tonight. the 4th inning was a nightmare, and the bats didn't step up. a distressing outing from Ubaldo that unraveled so quickly (shit, he had no-hit the Pads through 3) that Rusch wasn't likely able to get loose enough before he started serving up singles and RBI's to UJ's base runners.
thanks to the Dodgers for taking down the D-Bags, but this is just spinning your wheels if you can't beat a rookie pither on the goddam Padres.
The padres were thinking about going camp.
The rocks seem interested in striking out a lot and generating loads of LOB.
Peavy is putting on a clinic...
Rox look like they may lose this series. jackasses.
unwar Taylor.
totally unwar Buchholz. Too bad we couldn't have blown it open in the top of 9. Holliday and StewBag gave the ball ride.
We really do suck against the Fathers.
War Webb getting roughed up.
