...and the Rockies decide to stand pat. Besides maybe 1 or 6 more quality arms, I guess they didn't have a ton of needs to address before yesterday's trade deadline passed.
Well, just so happens that those needs were reinforced by last night's debacle down in FLA. That game was over in the 2nd inning. C'mon guys, let's not have the tail end of this road trip be the death knell for any hopes of a Rockies post season appearance in 2008...

Indeed. Sounds like Francis had another good start last night for the Drillers and will be back in the bigs for Tues night. I hope it's the Francis of last season, not the early 2008 version.
Ubaldo has a bit of pressure on him tonight. With the bully worked from last night, he needs to go 7 and give the offense a chance to break through. I hope the Rocks brought those bats they had in Cincy for tonight's game.
Speaking of bats, Das Boot opponents will feel the WRATH come next week!
Ubaldo is kind of dishin' 'em. Somthing tells me he needs to continue that trend.
I-Dog comes up big with 2 outs and then Q tacking on another is just want you want from the bottom of the lineup. After Hawper and G-Dog couldn't convert a 2nd and 3rd with zero outs opportunity, this was huge.
Hold it down Ubaldo!
yes troutdog, yes.
c'mon Ubaldo...settle. it's 5-0 in our favour.
money. nice to see the youngster, Ubaldo work out of the bases loaded jam against a pretty scary batter, Ramirez. it makes me pleased.
Ubaldo is looking mighty solid. Just what the doc ordered!
ST - I'm gunning to get the Ticket - $129 for the last 2 months. Seems like it is worth it.
that's a freaking bad call. Atkins' hit dropped.
better not come back to haunt us.
And I'm rocking the MLB Extra Innings.....Sox and A's in the bottom of the 9th. 1-1. Snakes and Dodgers at 830.
Rocks in control.
