Way too many Ks last night. The game should have been won in the 10th inning with a runner at 1st and 3rd and no one out, but the ball was not even put into play. Even a GIDP would have been welcomed there. A good job by Super Ubaldo, though the balk and poor pitch-out were definitely a part of the loss. Hopefully Marq-Dog can bounce back after his shaky performance in Anaheim last week.
We'll need more barrel tonight (I'm officially calling for more barrel... it worked last time).

I fucking hate losing to the dodgers. I turned it off after the top of the 13th, sensing some sort of dodger heroics were coming. Totally agree on all the poitns above. Way too many whiffs, we live by the balk and apparently also die by the balk, the pitchout was a blunder, a two-out, two-strike pitch with the pitcher hitting costs the only two regulation runs, etc. etc. etc. It's almost like we want to lose to the dodgers.
That 10th inning was brutal. Don't like seeing two rookies come to the plate and striking out. Guess you call those growing pains...
Tonight should be interesting. Marq-Dog needs to rebound, especially considering how used up the bully is. Please win at least one of these games Rocks.
