Frank Dog coming through? I was kind of dozing off, but I thought it was Bettenfart that was kind of trying to blow the game in the 9th, but held on (partially due to some crafty glove work from out suddenly able 2B man.
Ubaldo has been, as the kids say, sick this year. And we need it. Maybe he's filling the role of Marq-Dog of a year ago - keeping us in the race in the early going. Just don't expect the 2nd half fade.
Beimel with a solid inning. Tracy's move to keep him behind to start the season may be paying off now with some "chip on the shoulder" pitching from Beimel looking to prove himself. He's been pretty good. Not many others have been.
wish i was going to Fucked Up too. that is not a band I can feasibly go see on a weeknight without a personal day positioned the day after. sigh.
why the Huey Hatred? I actually think he has some fairly good insight. way less Okie-ness too. i love me some Fraiz, but Huson is not a bad respite I think.
Re: I can't stand his whine. His commentary can be good, but I find the whine hard to stomach. If he's in the for the long haul, I better get used to it.
Unwar Frank Dog. Dude cannot throw strikes consistently. We need a closer. I'd like to think Corpas is ready, but after his last two outings, I'm not so sure. As I've said before, the bullpen is great, but pretty unreliable when the game is close....

And Frank-Dog coming through at the end of the game. That and the Barmey 2-out double were welcomed surprises.
Totally. I actually stayed up and watched a whole west coast game. Chose a good one.

Hope Smith goes more than an inning tonight.
Yeah, it be nice if he could get back to his (alleged) Tucson form.
Yeah. It was Raffy not Frank-dog.

13 strikeouts for Ubaldo?
That's right my friend. 13 K's.
Speaking of Smiths sucking, Super Seth has been super shitty (to the max) for the most part this season. I don't know about him leading off.
Beimey has been pretty money, no doubt.
Hope there is some KTH blogging for the F'd Up show tonight. My stupid job is preventing me from attending. Wish it were next week.
Unwar Huson on west coast roadies and Fraize being elsewhere.

understand the whine complaint. still he has a lot more intelligent "baseball" insight to spew.
