Miggy Walk Off!

A rare come from behind win for the Rockies in 2010. Against Halladay, no less (to the tie at least).
Miguel with a 5 for 5 day and a capper walk off homer in the bottom of the 10th. A clutchness not seen too often this season.
You know Tracy was spewing in his post-game that this could be looked at as a pivotal game when they look back in September. Let's hope he's right.

Weather for game two of the double header looks dicey. Not last night dicey, but still.

My afternoon: Working at the desk listening to the Voices of Summer for the first couple of innings and hearing the Rocks take a 1-0 lead. Nice, I think...Return to my desk after missing innings 4-6 for a meeting to, not surprisingly, hear the Rocks had coughed up the lead and are now trailing 3-1. Resume listening to the VoS and hear the awesome comeback. Such a rarity in my 'listening to the game at work world,' which often seems to produce losses and depression.

The night cap does seem unlikely, but it ain't like they're playing at Barnum.

I see Mora goes to the DL (bad) to join Mr. Fidgety (good?).

Sounds like the original Frank Dog will be coming back to the big soon after a solid 2nd outing in Tulsa. Street probably back in two weeks? This roster has been a turnstile in the still somewhat young season.

Forgot to mention.
The Miggy walkoff bat flip was monumental.
Pitchers across the NL didn't like that.

Didn't hear much flack on tv about the bat flip, but it was rather flagrant. Miggy could see some inside pitches in the near future.

Hard to fathom the Nats coming to town being a scary series, but they are balling. Yo-Lease can hopefully cool them off.

Pretend not to look so shocked... the Capt is back on BSB.

I for one enjoyed the bat flip and school girl skip, guessing the Phils did not. Guessing Iannetta wasn't pleased either...

Pretty impressed the Rockies are hanging around .500 with all the injuries, scary thing is that they have given away so many games by playing sloppy and not getting the clutch hits/outs when they need to.

They remind me of a certain beer league softball team of years past, when they don't beat themselves they are contenders.

Ahoy Capt! Welcome back on board and the Das Boot comparisons are spot-on. Hope we can fire up the cooler radio tonight at Barnum and listen to the end of a Rocks win...

The radio cooler will indeed be making an appearance at Barnum this evening.
