Not too impressive, Rox...but I'll take it.

I'd like to thank the Cardinal pitching staff and Royd Glaus for that squeaker. It wasn't very convincing, and the bats could have done some serious damage at a couple points in the game but didn't and when it mattered, settled for runs of the unearned variety.
Pitching was of startling quality. Hopefully Kipper will take Francis under his wing and groom into a #1 starter. Just kidding there Jeff. I expect something a little bit better next outing, and if it goes to shit again, bust out your mystical rain dance. That was brilliant yesterday.
Fuentes and Corpas however, mighty impressive.

They really do. Hey stay on the line, let me get their names.

I must say, that new Matty/Hurdle/danish commercial got a good chuckle out of me tonight.

Failed to mention the term "Tulo" in my original post.
3 for 4.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that will be an atypical Rockies-style victory.

Lack of timely hitting could've come back to bite them, but a scrappy win on the road is a good W. The last thing I'm worried about long-term is scoring runs. And what can you say about my main man Fuentes? Corpas: dude is muy bueno.

Glad to have the baseballs back...Go ROCKS!!!

By the way, I missed the new "humorous" commercials. I wonder if I will have another chance to see them at some point this season.

I've got a pretty serious MLB Extra Innings boner going tonight. Getting my former Bay Area resident fix.

Red Sox/A's. fuck the Sox, they win another close one. those Athletics are so close to having the Sox 0-3.

Giants/Dodgers Jesus, Vin Scully sounds like a bad impersonator that is actually a robot. serious...watching the game I kept thinking that isn't him. but it was. i'm the FURTHEST thing from a Dodger fan, but can totally respect the Scully factor. That said, if there ever was a storied announcer (and they don't get much more storied than Scully) that don't sound right and should retire Vin is it. While we're at it, blow me Saito.

I gotta give a shot out to Nix (aka putting on the Nix, aka Sir Nix alot). Very impressive at bat to get the go ahead run home. After that lefty got our windmills churning it was nice to see someone go up there and make him throw stikes.

Sonic Tooth why the hate?? What next, some Billy Packer blasts? Scully is the main reason I watch Dodger games. They're grooming his replacement, Charlie Steinbrenner (is that it?) and he is freaking awful, in the Charles Johnson variety.

May I also add that a blog ain't complete until the Diceman makes an appearance.

After returning from the bar after watching the end of the Rocks, Nuggs, and 2 periods of the Avs games, I decided not to tangle with Extra Innings and get into bed and watch the end of the Avs playoff-clinching victory (huge).

I could get used to Diceman on Blake Street. Nix did have a very good at bat after Hawpe and Yorvit looked like fools. I believe we may have witnissed the first of hundred (thousands?) of DP's turned by the Tulo-Nix combo in the 2nd innings last. Tulo decides to go with a web gem in his first defensive play of the year. Dude is a straight freak.

Oh yeah, Rain Dance? Didn't see it...

Gotta give props to the Kipper. Hope I eat my words that he was a terrible signing.
