Cook's day in the rotation is my new favorite holiday, (that is until he loses to the Nats)

Blogger denying any photo posting tonight for some reason.
Like the Rockies getting proactive at the plate nice and early. Like it a lot.

I've missed the game so far. WTF? Cook must've sucked. I'm hoping I'm about to witness a comeback. Not the way to begin a crucial homestand.

Cook sucked. The defense sucked. And besides the first inning (when they should have even scored more) the offense has been rather sucky to boot.
Unless Herges can find a way to mask the juice, I'd pretty much say it's time to cut him.
An auspicious beginning to what is supposed to be the homestand that catapults the Rox back into contention.

Just what the doctor didn't order. Really need to take these next 3. The 'good' DLR is due to make an appearance. The entire team should be extremely motivated tonight.

And yes, Herges has been a big liability. I was watching a little of the Cubs-Stros game and was surprised to see LaTroy come in to the game for the Stros. Apparently he was cut by the Yanks.

Hoping Webb will follow Cook's lead and have one of his stitty starts.

Agreed, Herges: Boom, out of here.

The Cookie error was prolly the worst part of his outing. A fielder choice should have not have lead to a 2-run double.
