Dongs for Dogs

All three dogs on the team are going yard this afternoon: Bake-Dog, G-Dog, and I-Dog.

Currently 8-0 in the 5th, with Ubaldo looking like he has his good stuff yet again. Perhaps another complete game?

This team has suddenly become fun to watch. Keep them bats hot!

Hell yeah! Nice to return from a weekend in the mountains to see the last 7 innings of a laugher that completes a road sweep. Did I just type that?

With a 3-game set against the Bucs, they have a real chance to keep the current winniing streak alive. The starter for tomorrow's game is pretty questionable. Troy Renck is saying that they may call up Jason Hirsch for a one-game start before Francis returns - likely at the end of the week. Hirsch definitely needs to be reintroduced on the field to Rockies fans who have only been able to watch him in commercials getting manicures or wearing goofy basketball clothes thus far this year.

Would be nice if Zito could produce a Giants win over the Big Unit and the Snakes this afternoon.

the sweep is nice, but the rest of the upper-crust of the NL West keeps on winning too, dammit.

ST - Please put that smoking Dave Parker pic back up. The Rose shot can't leave the site soon enough!

I'd be impressed if old Sammy-dog went yard. Instead of just "going" in the yard.

I'm putting a moratorium on any more Rockies pitchers with the last name De La or De Los...while better than a certain Kip Wells, I really hope Hirsch gets his shit together soon.

With a depleted bullpen I hope Glendon has a special outing tomorrow.
